New in Loveshack v1.2.15

  • Cleaner email digests. The digest no longer repeats the subject line or the intro sentence above the posts.
  • Author in digest posts. Each post card shows the author avatar, name, and handle, linked to their ActivityPub profile.
  • Stream dates in digests. Post dates in the digest follow the timestamp format you set for the stream, such as “2 days ago”.

Loveshack 1.2.9

Visitors can now pay for a tier before they have an account.

Stripe Checkout collects the email, and Loveshack creates the account from the
completed payment, signs the visitor in, and drops them back where they were
reading. No free sign-up, no confirmation email standing between deciding to pay
and being subscribed.

Status Update

New in Loveshack v1.2.0

  • Markdown. Statuses, images, and videos are written in Markdown: headings, bold, lists, quotes, links, code.
  • Live preview. A Preview button under the Text field shows the post exactly as it will render.
  • Rich teasers. Stream cards render the same formatting as the post page, trimmed cleanly.
  • Markdown Teaser Text. The optional short version now sits under the Title and supports Markdown too.
  • Full-length cards. Leave a teaser length empty to show the whole text in the stream.

  • Dashboard. Loveshack > General is now Loveshack > Dashboard, at the top of the admin menu.
  • Analytics widgets. Subscribers, followers, revenue, growth, and your setup checklist on the WordPress dashboard.
  • Timestamp format. Relative, locale-aware, sortable, or custom – per post type.
  • One-click Customize from the Loveshack menu.
